Morra-gambiten (The Morra Gambit), Volume IV in the Swedish Schackbulletinens Gambit-Serie, published in 1966 and dated by the author's introduction.The Morra Gambit arises after 1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3, where White offers a pawn for fast development and open lines against the Sicilian. This booklet is an early, game-filled treatment of the gambit with plenty of theory, opening with a short introduction . It appeared before Ken Smith began promoting the Morra in the United States through Chess Digest, so it is a good piece for anyone following how the opening grew in popularity.The text is in Swedish. Chess notation is easy to follow even if you don't read the language.Condition: Good to Very Good. The tan paper cover shows light edge wear and a crease along the left spine fold.
